TROMPE L'OEIL

The Musical

DECEIVING THE EYE

Look Again

Inspired by the Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, politics, and surrealism, Tl'O questions if anything is quite what it seems.

Tl'O is a captivating, satirical musical that creates a vivid and surreal experience. Set against the backdrop of Donald Trump's presidency, this musical uses humor, clever wordplay, and bold choreography to explore themes of reality and identity.

The title itself means "deceives the eye," capturing the essence of the show as it masterfully plays with perception both in its story, music, and staging.

“Director and choreographer Blair Anderson treats the work with a necessary flamboyance, affecting an almost circus-like quality, heightened by choreography that punches well above the space.”
