OUR STORY

Broadly stated, it is an American drag queen's journey through a magical Wizard of Oz landscape where art form, Oz and politics mix in spectacular ways, including a drag king Trump who circus tightropes and “trampolines” and a Putin bat who hangs upside down and soars trapeze-like across the stage.

Not to be overlooked is also the show’s lyrical virtuosity, where hidden messages are impossibly written within songs turning them into an Alice and Wonderland scape of underlying political subversion and defiance, something which has fueled its current cult following.  The songs have graphically appeared in art galleries as far away as Paris (Fluctuart Galleries). 

 

Now in its 6th year, with Off Broadway and London shows - T l'O is more cultish, prescient - and necessary - than ever!
